Test Track is the fastest ride at the Disney US parks. Disney’s Test Track is mostly a dark ride. The fastest speed it reaches is 65 mph. It was supposed to open May of 1997. It ended up opening on March 17th, 1999. It kept getting delayed and ended up opening 3 years later! After 13 years of being open, it closed for refurbishment on April 15th, 2012. It re-opened as present day Test Track on December 6th, 2012. Test Track was a replacement of World of Motion. Now you go through four different tests in your vehicle : capability, efficiency, responsiveness, and power. Before you enter the ride you design your car on a touch screen. You’re not just a test dummy anymore, you’re a designer too! Test Track is sponsored by Chevrolet; World of Motion was sponsored by GM (General Motors). You wear seatbelts during the ride. So buckle up, complete your seatbelt check, and let the ride begin! Up to 6 people can fit in each car. I recommend this ride for people 5 and up.
